The Placement process of International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore covers both internship and full time employment (FTE).

IIITB has enjoyed 100% placement each year, on account of the strong support of the IT Industry and the growing base of talented alumni.

Their two year M.Tech Students have to successfully complete 6 months of full time internship in their 4th semester, i.e., from mid-Dec to mid-June , as part of their M.Tech program.

Students have to go through 2.5 months of summer internship and thesis in their 5th year of the programme.

Internship usually opens in August / September, where the companies and the institute get in touch and eventually schedule a date for Internship in the coming months.
