(a) A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, 2012, i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1982 and not later than 1st August, 1991.
(b) The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable as follows:–
(i) upto a maximum of five years if a candidate belongs to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe.
(ii) upto a maximum of three years in the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes who are eligible to avail of reservation applicable to such candidates.

Indian Engineering Service Exam is a paper-pen based exam directed by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment of engineers in the Engineering Services of the Government of India.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates age must be between 21 and 30 years

Candidates must have Obtained a degree/diploma in engineering from a recognized University .
