IES stands for Indian Engineering Service exam that is directed by the Union Public Service Commission

Eligibility
Minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years of interested applicants are allowed.
Upper age limit of applicants is of 30 years is relatable upto 35 years in the case of Government Servants of certain categories.
Candidates must be B.Tech/B.E or ,passed Sections A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India). or,
Candidates must Obtained a degree/diploma in Engineering from such foreign University/College/Institution and under such conditions as may be recognised by the Government
