Re: ICWA course registration process & fee structure

Cost and works accountant (CWA) is conducted by The Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI). ICWA as a course is conducted in 3 different stages. ICWA involves – Foundation, Intermediate and Final course.
The minimum age for applying for the ICWA course is 17 years.

Foundation Course :

Eligibility for Admission:

A candidate should have passed Class 10 or equivalent from a recognized Board.

Passed Senior Secondary Examination under 10+2 scheme of a recognized Board

Documents to be enclosed with application form:

You have to apply for Registration ONLINE

1. Attested Copy of Matriculation Certificate

2. Attested copy of 10+2 Certificate or Marks Statement

3. 3(Three) Passport size photographs –

Pasted on the form
One pasted on Identity Card and
One to be attached with the application.

Intermediate Course :

Passed Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2)and Foundation Course of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India/ Graduation in any discipline other than Fine Arts/ Foundation (Entry Level) Part I Examination of CAT of the Institute/ Foundation (Entry Level) Part I Examination and Competency Level Part II Examination of CAT of the Institute

Passed Foundation of ICSI/Intermediate of ICAI by what ever name called along with 10+2.

List of other qualifying examination are given vides Annexure VI of prospectus.

Final Course :

Students for being eligible to make an application to appear in the final examination must

Complete at least 6 months of Practical Training in any one or more of the organization specified in Appendix A, and in areas as specified in Appendix B;
(Or)
Must have an experience of at least 6 months in any one or more of the organization specified in Appendix A, and in areas as specified in Appendix B ,
(Or)
Enroll for the I- CMA Training Module as indicated in Appendix C

Fee structure-

Course Fee:

For Foundation: Rs 4000

For Intermediate: Rs 20000 (Rs16000 for Postal) and

For Final: Rs17000 (Rs 12000 for Postal)
