Re: Icis rpet
Hey buddy the ICIS is the world's largest petrochemical market information provider and has fast-growing energy and fertilizer divisions. Domestic demand for recycled material in North America is growing and, at the same time, political pressure is pushing companies to recycle more than ever. The result is an increasing supply of recyclable material and significant market opportunities. Well at present no recent price by the ICIS has been given for the Recycled polyethylene Terephthalate (RPET) ICIS 2015 Report The midpoint price difference between virgin and rPET pellets fell from 12 cents per lb on the US east coast in January last year to just 3.5 cents by December. 'That is a drop of 78% in the difference between the two products,' ICIS points out. As an independent source of pricing information, the new US report from ICIS covers both the East and West Coast FOB spot prices and also includes Mexico price assessments and virgin PET prices. Data is shown for bottle bales as well as recycled flakes and pellets, providing in-depth coverage of the various product grades. To complete the picture, further information is included on upstream feedstocks as well as commentary on influential downstream export markets such as China and India. |
