Integrated Common Entrance Test(ICET) is taken by all students for admissions in all the universities in Andhra Pradesh. Paper Analysis: Paper Type: MCQ Total Marks: 200 No Of Questions: 200 Duration : 2.5 hrs Each question carries one mark and there is no negative marking. Here I am giving the syllabus of ICET 2013 paper. Syllabus: ANALYTICAL ABILITY: 1. Data Sufficiency (20 Questions - 20 Marks) 2. Problem Solving - Contains 4 parts: a.)Sequences and Series (25 questions - 25 marks) - Analogies, Sequences, Series, Odd thing out, a:b::c:d relationships b.)Data Analysis (10 questions -10 marks) - Tables, Graphs, Diagrams, Charts, Passages c.)Coding and Decoding Problems (10 questions - 10 marks) d.)Date, Time and Arrangement Problems (10 questions - 10 marks) - Calendar problems, Clock problems, Blood relationships, Arrivals, departures and schedules, Seating arrangements, Symbol and notation, Interpretation. MATHEMATICAL ABILITY: 1. Arithmetical Ability (35 questions - 35 marks) - Ratio- proportion, Divisibility, Percentages, Profit and loss, Partnership, Time, distance and work problems, Areas and volumes, Indices 2. Algebraic & Geometrical Ability (30 questions - 30 marks) -Converse and inverse, Tautologies sets, Relations and functions, Trigonometry, Height and distance problems, Remainder theorem, Progressions, Binomial Theorem, Coordinate geometry 3. Statistical Ability (10 questions - 10 marks) - Frequency distributions Mean, Median, Mode, Standard Deviations, Correlation, Probability COMMUNICATION ABILITY: 1. Vocabulary (10 questions - 10 marks) 2. Business and Computer Terminology (10 questions - 10 marks) 3. Functional Grammar (15 questions - 15 marks) 4.
