Re: IBPS PO Vs SBI PO
Hello Raj here we tell you difference between IBPS PO and state bank of Bank examination as follows The Main Differences are : similarities, yet these differ in the maximum score per section. Also, there are some sections that differ in the IBPS PO and SBI PO online exam. IBPS online test has five sections with variable maximum marks. On the other hand, SBI online test has four sections with equal distribution of marks. The Reasoning section in the SBI PO online test has questions of a higher difficulty level compared to the former. General awareness and computer knowledge, in the IBPS exam are two separate sections. Additionally, the general knowledge section is based more on that relating to the banking sector. The SBI test, on the other hand, has a single section comprising of questions related to General Knowledge, Computer know how and Marketing knowledge. A section testing the Quantitative Aptitude of candidates in IBPS online test is mainly arithmetic. While, the corresponding Data Analysis and Interpretation section in SBI online test is a section based on assessment and understanding of data provided in the forms of tables. Besides the online test, the State Bank of India also conducts an offline test of 1 hour duration. The scores obtained by the candidates in this test also contribute to the final score. No such test is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. SBI also holds a group discussion session while assessing the candidates for recruitment as Probationary Officers. IBPS does not conduct any group discussions as part of the selection procedure. The personal interview, which is the last stage of the selection process, adds a maximum score of 100 to a candidate’s score in IBPS PO Exam. This score is reduced to slightly more than a third, i.e. merely 30 marks in SBI PO Exam. Another difference between the two is that SBI recruitment exam selection cut – off is much higher than the IBPS Common Written Exam cut – off. |
