As you want I am here telling you about the process for admission in M.Sc./M.Tech. degree courses and the PHD courses at Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI).

Process of Admission

For M.Sc./M.Tech. degree courses :

For admit students in M.Sc./M.Tech. degree courses Entrance examination is undertaken by the Education Division of ICAR.

On the basis of the merit in entrance exam the ICAR finalizes the admission for M.Sc./M.Tech. degree courses .

For Ph.D. degree courses :

Admission to the Ph.D. courses be made on the basis of the performance of candidates in the written entrance examination (70% weightage) + academic score (20% weightage) + interview (10% weightage).

Entrance examination will consist of one paper of three parts as :

Part I (General Agriculture)
Part II & III (Subject Paper)

Academic score shall be calculated on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in various examinations from metric (X standard) onwards.

Bachelor's Degree in relevant subject .

For Ph.D. degree courses :

M.Sc./M.Sc.(Ag.)/M.Tech./M.E. in relevant subject .
