Himachal Pradesh University Department of Computer Science was set up in the year 1987.
It offers MCA program and some detail about MCA is here:-

Seats: Subsidized seats 30+01

Duration: 3 years (6 semesters)

Eligibility: you must have bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST).

Age Limit: Maximum age limit for admission to MCA course is 26 years

Admission process:
The admission will be done on the basis of merit in the entrance test to be conducted by HP University, Shimla.

The admission to MCA course will be made on the basis of merit of the Entrance Examination (written test) conducted by H.P. University.
