Re: How to Solve IBPS Exam Distance and Time Question
As you want to get some tricks for solving IBPS exam distance and time questions, so here I am giving you some tricks. For solving distance and time questions, candidate must have know about formulas because formulas are more important for solving these questions. There are 5 important formulas for solving time & distance questions which I am giving you here: 1. Speed = Distance/Time, Time = Distance/Speed, Distance = Speed X Time. 2. Km/hr to m/sec conversion: Y km/hr = Y x 5/18 m/sec. 3. M/sec to km/hr conversion: Y m/sec = Y x 18/5 km/hr. 4. If the ratio of the speeds of A and B is a : b, then the ratio of the times taken by then to cover the same distance is 1/a : 1/b or b : a. 5. Average Speed : Suppose a man covers a certain distance at x km/hr and an equal distance at y km/hr. Then, Average Speed = 2xy/x+y km/hr. You should learn these formulas firstly and then start preparing for the questions. Here I am giving you one attachment of question paper: IBPS Question Paper Last edited by Raman Vij; 12th December 2014 at 01:49 PM. |
