The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) conducts PG Entrance examination. This exam is conducted twice a year for admission to as many as 160 MD/MS and MDS seats in various streams.

You are asking for the seats for open categories. There are 50% seats are available for the open categories.

AIIMS PG 2015 Exam Pattern

For MD/MS:
Duration: 3 Hours
Number of Questions: 200 Objective Type Questions
Negative Marking: 1/3rd of the marks allocated for a right response will be deducted for the incorrect response


For MDS:
Duration: 90 Minutes
No. of questions: 90 Objective type questions
Negative Marking: 1/3rd of the marks allocated for a right response will be deducted if the response is incorrect

AIIMS PG 2015 Important Dates

Last date for online registration of application on AIIMS will be on October 16, 2014

Status of applications and date of hosting the admit cards on website will be on October 24, 2014

Entrance Examination will be conducted on November 9, 2014


Date of Declaration of Result will be on November 13, 2014

1st counseling: December 9, 2014

2nd counseling: December 18, 2014

Open Selection: January 27, 2015
