In India the National Law University is admitted candidates for law courses. CLAT entrance exam is accepted by National Law Universities.

The Common Law Admission Test is an all India entrance examination, conducted on rotation by 19 National Law Universities NLUs for admissions to their Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate degree programmes.
