Re: How to Get Admission in IIT
The Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) is a public organization for education in engineering management. In India there are around 16 IITs. Brother, you did not mention about which course admission details you wanna. But don’t worry. Here I am giving the details of the all courses. Admission in IITs Details for the undergraduate programmes For Graduate Course, you should attend entrance test which is JEE(Advanced) . This exam is the entry point of the IITs for undergraduate course. Only 1,50,000 students can get a chance to take admission in IITs. So it’s a tough completion. The Exam mainly conducts in month of June. This exam is for 3 hours. It has two objective type question paper. Each paper will have 3 subject which is Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. For this exam you have to submit the online form. Welcome to JEE(Main) - 2015 Details for the post graduate programmes For post graduate courses entry point is GATE(Graduate Aptitude test in engineering) for IITs. GATE is conducted by all IITs and IISc. This exam is for courses in Engineering, Technology, Architecture and Pharmacy at National level. Application Form of GATE available in month of September and the exam conducted in month of January and February. For M.SC(Master in Science) course the Joint Admission Test(JAM) is conducted for admission in IITs. For 5 year integrated master in arts(MA), The Humanities and Social Sciences Entrance Examination is conducted. This exam is only for admission in IIT madras. The Humanities and Social Sciences Entrance Examination (HSEE) is an admission test for 5 year integrated Masters of Arts (M.A) degree programme in the following disciplines: English Studies and Development Studies. Students who have passed their 12th standard examination in India can apply for admission into this programme. This unique and innovative masters programme started in 2007-08 is available only in IIT Madras.
