NERIST NEE exam pattern

The entrance examination consists of single paper of 150 marks. The test paper is divided into four sections containing 125 questions in total.

Section I: 25 questions on Physics of one mark each.
Section II: 25 questions on Chemistry of one mark each.
Section III: 25 questions on Biology of one mark each.
Section IV: 50 questions on Mathematics, out of which 25 questions are of 1 mark each while 25 questions are of 2 marks each.

All the questions are of objective type
The duration of the entrance examination is 3 hours

Section I consist of 35 questions on Physics, out of which 25 questions are of one mark each while 10 questions are of two marks each.

Section II consists of 35 questions on Chemistry, out of which 25 questions are of one mark each while 10 questions are of two marks each.

Section III consists of 50 questions on Mathematics, out of which 30 questions are of one mark each while 15 questions are of two marks each.

Section IV consists of 50 questions on Biology, out of which 30 questions are of one mark each while 15 questions are of two marks each.
