How to configure Router Serial Interfaces, DCE (Data Communication Equipment) on the Cisco Router? I am doing the networking course and in a project, I have to connect the DCE on the Cisco Router. But I don’t know how to do it. Please help me.

The Cisco 819 Integrated Services Router (ISR) supports synchronous by default and asynchronous serial interface protocols

Configuring the serial interface in the Cisco 819 ISR allows you to enable applications such as WAN access, legacy protocol transport, console server, and dial access server.

It also allows remote network management, external dial-modem access, low-density WAN aggregation, legacy protocol transport, and high port-density support.

Serial interfaces enables the following features:

WAN access and aggregation
Legacy protocol transport
Dial access server
