If you want to become a CBI officer you need to clear certain stages of an entrance test which is called SSC (Staff Selection Commission) exam.

Central bureau of Investigation i.e CBI is Government undertaking best Inquiring Agencies in India.

Joining into CBI is through CGPE i.e Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam which is Conducted by SSC (Staff Selection Board) Every Year.

This Exam is held Once a year which is in the Month of February.

Qualification:
The applicant should have Graduation courses in Criminology For making Yourself Eligible For CBI.

For Graduation in Criminology in Different University in India you must be 12th passed.

Physical Requirements

a. Height
i. For men -165cms.
ii. For women -150cms
Height relax able for Hillsmen and Tribals: 5cms

b. Chest:
76cms. with expansion (There shall be no such requirement in case of female candidates)

c.Vision:
Eye-Sight (with or without glasses)
Distant Vision :6/6 in one and 6/9 in other eye.
NearVision:0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye

Salary in CBI
CBI gets the pay scale of Rs.5500-9000.
The Government of India has fixed salary grades for its employees at various posts. Although they keep on changing with new pay commission
