Gujarat University is a state university situated at Ahmedabad, Gujarat state, India. Currently ABVP won majority seats of the election.

The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) wins the election in Gujarat University Election.

For the first time ABVP lead over its rival National Students Union of India (NSUI) by bagging six out of a total of 10 seats.

Two of the seats, one from medical and another from the dental faculty, were won by ABVP uncontested.

ABVP lost two of the seats — Postgraduate (arts) and Education — by a margin of one vote

Pravin Nakum from the law faculty

NSUI also won education and PG (commerce) seats.

ABVP won PG (science) and Undergraduate (science) seats by a margin of 18 and six votes.

It also won UG (Art) and UG (commerce) seats by a margin of 44 and 70 votes.

The winners of the medical and dental faculties were Ravi Umraniya and Radhika Agnihotri, respectively.
