Graduate Record Examination GRE General Test is taken by applicants applying to various graduate and business school programs in United States and other countries. The computer-based GRE can be taken once every 21 days, up to 5 times within any continuous period of 12 months. Eligibility: The applicants must be having a valid passport of the country where he/ she is located including a valid identity proof. The candidates should also have a good knowledge of the concerned institute where he/ she wish to take admissions. Exam Pattern: There are three sections in the exam: Verbal Reasoning; Quantitative Reasoning and Analytical Writing Sections respectively Subjects of Examination: 1. Mathematics 2. Physics 3. Psychology 4. Chemistry 5. Biology 6. Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology 7. English Literature respectively Syllabus; 1. Physics: Basic Mechanics and Quantum Mechanics, Nuclear and Particle Physics, Atomic Physics, Thermodynamics, Special Relativity, Electromagnetism etc 2. Chemistry: Physical Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry and Organic Chemistry 3. Biology: Cellular and Molecular Biology, Ecology and Evolution and Organismal Biology 4. Mathematics: Calculus, Algebra, Miscellaneous questions on Geometry, Complex Variables, Numerical Analysis, Probability and Statistics, Differentiation and Integration etc 5.
