No it is not compulsory to get admission in M.Pharm in NIPMER

You can also give the NIPER Joint Entrance Examination

NIPER Joint Entrance Examination (10:00 am. to 12.00 noon) 8th June 2014
Declaration of result of written test 16th June 2014
Group discussion and Interview for M.B.A (Pharm.) 14th-15th July, 2014
M.B.A. (Pharm.) Joint Counselling 16th July, 2014
NIPER Joint Counselling for admission to Masters Programme 17th-18th July, 2014
Orientation 28th July, 2014
Commencement of classes 28th July, 2014

RELAXATION
3.1 Relaxation in CGPA to 6.25 on a 10-point scale or in marks to 55% or equivalent in the eligibility criteria is allowed to SC and ST candidates.

3.2 Physically handicapped (PH) candidates are permitted relaxation in eligibility requirement of CGPA to 5.75 on a 10-point scale or to 50% marks or equivalent. No other relaxation beyond this will be allowed even if they belong to SC/ST category.

Matriculation Certificate as a proof of age and correct name
Marksheet of all the semesters/years of the qualifying degree
Valid GPAT/GATE/NET score card, wherever applicable
Admit card of NIPER JEE (written test).
Certificate of reservation, if applicable.
Certificate of reservation and certificate of income (showing non-creamy layer status of the OBC candidates
Certificate of disability, if applicable
Medical Certificate to be provided in the form
