The GPSC (Gujarat Public Service Commission) Exam is conducted by government of Gujarat. The Eligibility required are as follows: Education Qualification:-- The Candidate must have Degree/Graduation in any discipline from recognized University. Age Limit;-- The Candidate must be between 21 - 28 years of age. The Relaxation for SC and ST age is for 5 years. For OBC, it is 3years. For women’s in reserved quota it is 10 years For General Women’s it is 5 years. The Examination Procedure The following are tests conducted by the GPSC The Preliminary examination Main examination The Personality Test The Preliminary Examination The preliminary Examination consist of two paper with objective type question Paper-I General Studies 150 Paper-II One subject to be selected from the list of optional subjects 200 The Total marks:350 The Main Examination Paper-I Gujarati Marks-200 Paper-II English Marks-200 Paper-III General Studies Marks-200 Paper IV & V Two subject to be selected from the list of optional subject Marks 200 Each The Total Marks: 1000 The Interview: The interview is of 100 Marks The Posts under the GPSC are -- The Deputy Superintendent of Police -- The District Registrar of Co-Operative Society -- The Mamlatdar -- The Section Officer-Sachivalaya -- The Section Officer-Vidhansabha -- The Section Officer-G.P.S.C -- The Taluka Development Officer -- The Labour Officer -- The Assistant District Register of Co-Operative Society -- The District Inspector of Land Record |
