Can you tell me which Government Department responsible for Universities education?

Ministry of Human Resource Development deals with literacy of universities. The department is divided into two. One is the Department of School Education and Literacy, which is responsible for with primary and secondary education, adult education and literacy. And the second one is Department of Higher Education which deals with university education, technical education, scholarship etc.

Currently Smriti Zubin Irani is Union Cabinet Minister for Human Resource Development.
