Goa College of Architecture was founded in the year 1982. It is the only Institute in Goa offering a Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch) Course in architecture, which is recognized by the Council of Architecture and Indian Institute of Architects as full professional training. The College is funded by the Government of Goa and is affiliated to Goa University.

Duration of Course : 5 years


Eligibility Criteria

NATIONALITY:
Admission to professional courses in State of Goa is open to Indian nationals fulfilling the eligibility criteria under various categories. Non-resident Indians holding Indian passport may apply for seats reserved under NRI category. Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) /Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) cardholders are considered eligible for admissions to seats under NRI Category. Foreign Nationals must apply to Govt. of India.

AGE:
An applicant to Degree courses in Architecture must have competed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the academic year of admission to become eligible for admission to First Year.

Qualification

B.Arch.:
The applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std.XIIth) examination of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects and secured at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% aggregate marks for applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC).
OR
10+3 Diploma (any stream) passed/appearing recognized by Central/State Govts with 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics.
OR

International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination.

Entrance Exam
An applicant for Degree Course in Architecture must have appeared and obtained qualifying score at NATA conducted by Council of Architecture.
