I would like to inform you that Gujarat National Law University has already conducts CLAT exam for now you have to wait and I will get updates for you. Tentative dates Date of Issue of First Admission Notification December, 2016 Beginning of Online Application Process January first week 2017 Last Date for submission of online form March last week 2017 Availability of CLAT Admit Card Mid of April 2017 Onwards Date of Entrance Exam May 7, 2017 Declaration of CLAT Result Last week of May 2017 CLAT Counselling commences from June, 2017 Exam pattern Exam Pattern Total Marks: 200 Number of Questions: 200 Duration: 2 hours Marking: There is system of negative marking and for every incorrect answer 1/4th marks will be deducted. English (including comprehension) 40 marks Elementary Mathematics 20 marks General Knowledge/Current Affairs 50 marks Logical Reasoning 40 marks Legal Reasoning 50 marks Eligibility Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary School/Intermediate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent examination with not less than 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of SC/ST and persons with Disability). There is no age bar for appearing in CLAT Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination can also appear provisionally. However, they shall have to produce proof of having passed the qualifying examination before or at the time of admission with detailed mark sheet. Candidate with compartment/supplementary in any subject in the qualifying examination will not be eligible for admission.
