GMAT Exam Preparation
Can you provide me tips and previous year question paper for preparation of GMAT or Graduate Management Admission Test? Also provide me the paper pattern of GMAT as well?

If one wants to get into a top business school, a good score on the Graduate Management Admission Test or GMAT can help a long way. It is not the only aspect in the admissions process, but a high score only affect application package stronger. Preparation for it needs to take place over a good number of months in order to give the best chance of success. Tips for preparation 1. Consistency over intensity 2. Create a learning diary 3. Set an exponential GMAT prep timetable 4. Train to use laminated drawing board during GMAT Prep 5. Do not overestimate GMAT prep test results 6. Redo GMAT prep tests 7. Practice educated guessing 8. Focus on your weaknesses… but in a measured way 9. Try to overshoot your target GMAT Score 10. Set time milestones during the GMAT test GMAT Exam Pattern The test consists of three parts- Quantitative section, the Analytical Writing Assessment, and Verbal Section. 1. GMAT Analytical Writing Assessment: The test begins with this section (AWA). Two writing tasks are included in this section- Analysis of an Argument and Analysis of an Issue. 30 minutes are allotted to complete each essay. 2. GMAT Quantitative Section: An optional 10 minute break is there after the AWA. This section has 37 questions (multiple choice questions). The questions are of two types- Data Sufficiency and Problem Solving. Time allotted is 75 minutes. 3. Verbal Section: A second optional 10 minutes break is there after which this section begins. There are 41 multiple choice questions in his section. The questions are of three types- Sentence Correction, Critical Reasoning, and Reading Comprehension. Time allotted is 75 minutes. |
