| Re: Flare PDPU Website
Flare, is the annual techno cultural festival of the Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University. It is a three-day long college fest held towards the end of March every year. It has been celebrated for last four years and has a tread of over 9,000 students from various colleges of India There were also several other competitions involving robotics. One such competition in 2010 was "Pele's bot" football competition, and others included a car and boat-racing events. At Flare 2011, additional competitions such as The Battle of the Bots were added. In its very first year performances by Pakistan band Jal and several other bands like Antariksh based on popular band Pink Floyd could be seen. In its second year, Flare hosted performances by Agnee, Highway 61, and Jaipur Beats along with DJ Suketu.
