I have completed my engineering degree and want to prepare for the Indian Engineering Services (IES/ES) Exam want some details about this exam. Will you tell me what the pattern of this exam and tell me what the marks and question divisions also provide dates for this IES Exam?

Indian Engineering Services (IES/ES) constitute of engineers that work under the government of India to manage a large segment of public sector economy which constitutes of Railroads, Public works, Power, Telecommunications, etc. The entrance for Indian Engineering Service comprises of a Written Exam (section I and II) and an Interview. The details follow: One Engineering Discipline should be chosen from the following categories: Civil Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering The written examination will comprise two sections: Section I - objective types questions Section II – conventional (essay) type questions papers. Both Sections will cover the entire syllabus of the relevant engineering subject.
