Exam Pattern Of CDS Exam

Hello sir, for CDS exam I want to know exam pattern of CDS. Can any one provide me detail of which pattern is followed in CDS exam?

Union Public Service Commission is conducts Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination for recruitment of various vacancies under Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officers Training Academy.

The entrance for Central Defense Services comprises of a Written Exam followed by and Intelligence and Personality Test.

Paper would have three sections – English, Elementary Math and General Knowledge.

Level of the questions in the exam would be same as that of class XI and XII.

Questions in the paper are multiple choices/objective.

Each question would have 4 options out of which 1 would be correct.

Each paper is of 100 marks and 2 hours duration.

Written Examination for Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy and Air Force Academy

Written Examination for Officers' Training Academy:

CDS Marking Scheme:

For correct answer, 1 mark would be credited.
For incorrect answer, ¼ marks would be deducted.
Any question that is left unanswered would not fetch negative marking
