I reside in Mumbai and wish to take NIFT Entrance exam in 2012 so please give me the dates of the exam and also inform me when and from where I can get the application form for it.

National Institute of Fashion Technology was put up in 1986 under the aegis of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. It has emerged as the leading Institute of Design, Management and Technology, budding professionals for taking up leadership positions in fashion business in the emerging global scenario

NIFT 2016 Admission Important Dates are as follows:

Starts of online registration/Application Form is from 20th October, 2015 to 10th January, 2016

End date for Submission of NIFT 2016 Application Form/registration is 10th January, 2016

Last date of online registration along with late fee of Rs.5000/- is 16th January, 2016

Written Exam (UG and PG programmes) is on 14th February, 2016

Admit Card will be available online only & from 21st January 2016 (1300 Hrs)

Situation Test/Group Discussion/Interview Dates will be in the month's in between April & May 2016

Declaration of Final Result through Online will be tentatively at the End of May-June 2016

NIFT 2016 online counseling date will begin June 2016 onwards

Basic eligibility criteria for NIFT 2016 is as given below:

For Bachelor Programmes: Maximum Age should be 23 years as on 1st October 2015 and the upper age limit will be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for the applicants of SC/ST/PHP.

Each of the courses has their own educational requirements.
