As the entrance exam date of MA in economics is over for the session 2014-15 and the session is already running. So here I am providing you the details of it: The details of the entrance exam date of MA in economics for JNU, DU and BHU as you want to prepare for the exams is as follows: JNU 2014 Exam Date: 16th May, 2014 to 19th May, 2014. Eligibility for JNU M.A.: Bachelor’s degree ( with 50% marks in aggregate ) in the following subjects : Economics ( Honours ) with Mathematics as subsidiary subject; Mathematics ( Hons. ) with Economics as a subsidary subject; or Statistics ( Hons. ) with Mathematics & Economics as subsidiary subjects. Delhi University Delhi School of Economics Entrance 2014 date: June 28, 2014 Candidates having bachelor degree in Economics (Hons.) either from the University of Delhi or any other Indian University recognized by Delhi University are eligible to apply. Such candidates must have a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in the qualifying degree. Bachelor degree holders from other streams are also eligible for admission if one has obtained a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in degree level exam. OBC students are given 10% relaxation in the qualifying exam marks, i.e. they need to have a minimum of 45% marks in place of 50% in case of general category candidates. No basic percentage requirements (in graduation) are needed for candidates belonging to SC/ST category. Only passing the qualifying exam fulfills their admission criteria to the course. BHU or Banaras Hindu University MA Entrance Tests Date June 14, 2014 Eligibility Requirements (a) B.A. (Hons.)/B.Sc. (Hons) in the subject concerned. or (b) B.A./B.Sc. under 10+2+3 pattern scoring at least 50% marks in the aggregate including all subjects studied at B.A./B.Sc. level in all the three parts. |
