Re: Engineering vs. Medicine
Overall, both Engineering field and Medicine field are great majors. However, since engineering requires almost half the amount of schooling that a doctor would need, you are interested in math and physics ( the foundation of engineering), and engineering makes a lot of money. besides, becoming a doctor is really stressful. Engineer Career Prospects Junior Engineer (Starter) – Diploma Engineer Assistant Engineer-(Direct) - Degree Holder Sub Divisional Engineer Assistant Executive Engineer Executive Engineer Superintending Engineer Chief Engineer Career Prospects for Doctors Doctors in India and abroad have lucrative career opportunities. after completion of MBBS degree and internship is INR 10,000 to INR 20,000. In private hospitals, junior doctors can earn a monthly salary of INR 25,000. Contractual doctors get a salary ranging from INR 12,000 to INR 30,000, as per their academic qualification and work experience. The Health Ministry of India is also offering a salary hike of 25% (for difficult areas) to 50% (for areas unreachable by road) for those, who are serving in rural sectors. |
