Am I Eligible for NET exam with less then 54% marks in masters?? What are the basic requirements to apply for this exam???

If you belong to reserve category then yes you are Eligible for NET exam with less then 54% marks in masters, but if you are from the general category then there is no chance for you. Here are the details of NET examination: Eligibility: The applicant should have minimum 55% marks in Master’s Degree from universities recognized by UGC. Other Backward Classes belonging to non-creamy layer / Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Persons with disability category candidates who have secured minimum 50% marks in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test.
