As you want to know the eligibility for the MSc forensic science in national institute of forensic science so, here I am providing you the same.

Eligibility:

The candidates should complete (B.Sc.) preferably with Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Biochemistry, Microbiology, B.Pharm., BDS or Applied Science.

The marks of admission for this course may vary from University to University.

It is a 2 Years, Full Time, and Post Graduate Degree

Firearms, Ammunition and Evidentiary clues
Internal, Intermediate and External Ballistics
Forensic Ballistics-I (Identification of firearms and Range of firing)
Firearms and Ammunition
Scene of Crime, Chemical tests and tool marks

2nd Year

Chemical Methods of Analysis
Terminal Ballistics
Forensic Ballistics-II
Application of Statistics, Report writing and Arms Act
Use of Instrumentation Techniques
Identification of Firearms and Reconstruction
Work in- house lab
Attachment at designated lab outside
