Eligibility Criteria for NET exams

What is the eligibility criteria required to apply for NET Exams please tell me?

NET is the National Eligibility Test

Eligibility for NET Exam:
Candidates must secure at least 55% (50 per cent for reserved category) marks in Master's Degree OR equivalent from recognized university

Candidates who have appeared OR appearing in Master's degree (final year) examination may also apply for this test

Age limit:
(i) Junior Research Fellowship: Not more than 28 years
(ii) Assistant Professor: There is no upper age limit for Assistant Professor.
