Here you are looking for CID officer so I want Eligibility criteria, as you want here I am providing you. CID: Criminal Investigation Department It is the branch of all Territorial police forces within the British Police and many other Commonwealth police forces, to which plain clothes detectives belong. It is thus distinct from the Uniformed Branch and the Special Branch. For the CID officer job post you have to write the entrance exam which has been conducted by the UPSC departments and exam is CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam. Eligibility for CID job posts : Educational Qualification: Candidates should be passed the bachelor degree from any recognized university. Nationality:- candidates must be Indian citizen. Age limit: Minimum age 21 years Maximum 30 years. Age relaxation: 5 years age relaxation for the SC/ST or 3 years for the OBC. Physical requirement : Height: For men: 163 cms. For women: 152 cms Eye-Sight (with or without glasses) Distant Vision: 6/6 in one and 6/9 in other eye. NearVision: 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye SELECTION:- Selection of the candidates will be based on • 5 km running test • Physical tests • Written test • Interview How to prepare for exam and interview: 1. Basic skills 2. Analyze materials 3. Excellent communication skills and pleasing manner. 4. Candidates who wish to join the CID or Crime Investigation Department need to appear in the Indian Civil Services examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. Eligibility Educational Qualification: One should be passed the bachelor degree from any recognized university. Age limit: age must be between the 21 to 30 years. 5 years age relaxation for the SC/ST . or 3 years for the OBC. Nationality:- Indian citizen. Physical requirement: Height: For men: 163 cms.
