EAMCET from Other States
Hi I am living in Mumbai, and I want to apply from the AP Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) exam so tell is the other state students are eligible to apply from this exam? I have to attach the domicile certificate with the application form of EAMCET exam?

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada organizes Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) examination to provide admissions in different UG professional courses offered by various colleges and universities in Andhra Pradesh state. No, a student from State other than Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana cannot apply for admission in Engineering Program through AP EAMCET. Eligibility for Engineering Courses: Nationality: One must be an Indian Citizen, Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders. One must belong to Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana. One should satisfy Local/Non-Local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh/Telangana. Qualification Criteria: One must have passed or appearing in the final year of 12th or equivalent exam from any recognized board of Andhra Pradesh with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects. One who has completed or appearing in Diploma in Engineering courses can also apply. One must obtain 45% marks for general candidates and 40% marks for reserved category in the core subjects. Age Criteria: One should cross the minimum age limit of 17 years and 22 years age maximum age limit for general and 25 years for SC and ST candidates. AP EAMCET Exam Pattern Duration of the Exam: The exam is 3 hours. No. of Questions: 160 questions will be asked. Subjects: The subjects asked in the exam are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Type of questions: The question paper will be of Objective Type. Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be awarded for each correct question. Negative Marking: There is no negative marking. |
