Post graduate degree in Agriculture Science (Genetics & Plant Breeding/Horticulture/ Vegetable Science/Plant Pathology/Agronomy), Life Science (Botany, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Food Technology/ Microbiology, Physiology), Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Science in first division with NET/ GATE/GPAT qualification.

Or
Graduate degree in professional course (B.E/B.Tech in Biotechnology/Food technology) in first division with NET/GATE

Or
Post graduate degree in professional course (M.E/M.Tech in Biotechnology/Food technology) in first division both at Graduate and Post Graduate level

Candidates have to serve DIBER Field Station Auli (Joshimath) in Distt Chamoli, Field Station Pithoragarh and DIBER HQ, Haldwani. However they may also be posted any other station including high altitude field stations.
