As you want I am here telling you about the admission eligibility criteria for PG course under the department of management studies of the IIT Roorkee.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidate must have Bachelor’s degree in any discipline of Engineering/Technology with first class or its equivalent.

or

Candidate should have Master’s degree with first class or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized Institution or University.


Candidates of General/OBC category must have minimum of 60% (SC/ST/PD 55%) marks or 6.00 (SC/ST/PD 5.50) CGPA on a 10 point scale at qualifying degree level.


Selection Procedure:

Candidates appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT) .

Short listing of candidates called for Interview/GD,

On the basis of their performance in CAT exam and the interview/GD admission will be given .

weightage given:

CAT Score 65%;
Group Discussions 10%;
Interview 20%;
Work Experience 5%.
