Is there negative marking in NMIMS Management Aptitude Test (NMAT) Exam? Tell me the pattern of the exam?

There is no negative marking in NMIMS Management Aptitude Test NMAT exam.

NMAT exam pattern-

The total duration of the test is 120 minutes.

There will be a total of 120 Multiple Choice Questions distributed among 3 sections.

Each question will carry 3 marks.

Quantitative Skills:

This section check how much a candidate is comfortable with numbers. To solve this particular section, candidates will be provided 60 minutes and there will be a total of 48 questions. A candidate can score a maximum of 144 marks in this section. Most of the questions will require quick oral calculations and mathematical skills. To solve the questions in this section, candidates must familiar with the concepts and formula of Business Mathematics, Arithmetic and Geometry.

Language Skills:

The questions in this section will be checking the candidate’s command over English vocabulary and grammar. There will be a total of 32 questions and the time provided to complete this section is 22 minutes.

Logical Reasoning Skills:

In this section, most of the questions will be based on topics like Data Arrangements, Series & Sequences, Direction Sense and Input/Output analysis, etc. For this section, aspirants are required to practice the topics regularly and understand the basics. There will be a total of 40 questions and total time allotted for this section is 38 minutes.
