1. Qualification and Experience: An eminent scholar in the field of Earth Science [Petroleum Geology/ Sedimentology/ Biostratigraphy (Micropaleontology/ Palynology)/ Petroleum Geochemistry/ Reservoir Engineering/ Exploration Geophysics/ Structural Geology and Tectonics], with published works of high quality and who is actively engaged in research with ten years of experience in Post Graduate teaching and research in the University/ National level Institution/Training and Research Institute of National importance with experience of guiding research at doctoral level need to apply. OR an outstanding Scholar/ Scientist with established reputation who has made significant contribution, as evidenced from publication to Earth Sciences may also apply.

2. Pay Scale: The monthly salary will be in the Pay Band of Rs. 37,400-67,000 + Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 10,000/- with admissible allowances.

Age: The aspirants should not be below 45 years of age and above 63 years as on 1st March, 2018
