The Department of Lifelong Learning, was started in the year 1980 at Burdwan University with total financial assistance and staff support by the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi.

The basic objective of the Department is to improve the quality of life through enhancement of education, knowledge and life skill development as well as
institutionalization of population education in the higher education system in the state.

Post Graduate Diploma In Guidance And Counselling

Duration-
The Post Graduate Diploma Course in Guidance and Counselling is a regular, one-year programme including 1 month practical and agency programme.

Eligibility-

Honours Graduates with minimum 50% marks in any discipline are eligible. Preference will be given to Master degree passed students in any discipline. Admission will be on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in the last examination.

Post Graduate Diploma In Yoga Therapy

Duration-

The Post Graduate Diploma Course in Yoga Education is a regular, one and half year programme including 60 days internship programme.

Eligibility-

Graduates in any discipline are eligible.

Certificate Course in communicative English-

Duration-

The Certificate Course in Communicative English is 4 months (3 days / week) programme.
