Re: Dental Problem A Major Issue To Join Army
Dental problem is not an issue for the army. The dental problem arises only when your teeth are not in sound condition. Means to say that you will not be able to speech clearly otherwise you will be rejected. The complete medical standard needed for the Indian army is given below: Height: Minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cm Weight: Weight should be proportional to height. For example for 157.5 height, minimum weight should be 49.5 Kg. TEETH: 1. In case of loss of teeth, the candidate must have 14 dental points out of maximum 22 points possible. 2. The teeth should be in sound condition. Beside this other medical standards are: 1. There should be no skin disease. 2.There should be no disease of the eye, ear, nose and throat. 3. Free from any disease, effects of injury or disability. 4.There should be no disease of the kidney and urine must be free from sugar. So the above medical standards are generally required in the selection of the Indian Army. |
