The important dates 2019 for admission in BA (Bachelor of Arts) Program offered by the School of Open Learning, University of Delhi are as follows:

Starting UG admission online: 01st June 2019

Last Date of Admission without Late Fee: 31st July 2019

Last Date of Admission with Late Fee of Rs.100/-: 01st August 2019

Last Date of Admission with Late Fee of Rs.200/-: 31st August 2019


Eligibility Criteria SOL DU Distance Education BA Admission 2019


B.A. (Program)
One must have cleared Senior Secondary School Certificate Exam (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education or an exam recognised as equivalent thereto (OR)
Pre-University Exam (2 years after 10 years schooling) of an Indian University recognised by University of Delhi (Or)
Intermediate Exam of an Indian University/ Board or an exam recognized as equivalent there to
One must have passed with 40% or above in any of the exams


B.A. (Hons) - Program, English
One must have at least 60% marks in aggregate in the Senior School Certificate Exam, Conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi (OR)
An examination recognized as equivalent to the above
One must have secured 70% marks in the English Core Language in Class XII and 60% in aggregate will be eligible for direct admission (OR)
One securing 60% marks in English Elective and 60% in aggregate will be eligible for direct admission
Provided that one has qualified as per the above criteria in the paper of English carrying a minimum weight of 100 marks in Class XII


B.A (Hons) - Program, Political Science
One must have at least 45% in the aggregate with Political Science in any of the exams recognized by the University of Delhi
One must have secured 60% marks in the aggregate without Political Science in Class XII will be eligible for direct admission in Political Science (Honours) First Year
One securing 45% in aggregate with Political Science as one of their subjects will be eligible for direct admission
