The Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Mumbai, was founded in 1954 by the All India Women’s Central Food Council under the leadership of Late Smt. Lilavati Munshi to improve the nutritional status of the average from a high cereal diet to a more balanced diet. The critical factor however was to find trained personnel to run these Annapoornas on a self-financing basis.

Duration
Three years (Full)


Eligibility
One must have passed HSC (10+2) exam with minimum 50% marks and English as a subject.
Admission to B.Sc. is granted on the basis of NCHMCT JEE score followed by counselling.


Age limit
GEN not more than 25 years as on 1st July and 28 years for candidate belonging to SC/ST


Selection
By NCHMCT in May on the basis of merit in eligibility qualification
