The Deccan School of Pharmacy was established in the year 1997. The University was established by the Darussalam Educational Trust and is a pioneering pharmacy institution in Andhra Pradesh.

The college runs 4 year B.Pharmacy Degree course, 6 year Pharm.D, Pharm.D (Post-Baccaluarete) Course, M.Pharm Course.

The college is recognized by the Pharmacy council of Indian, New Delhi, the AICTE, New Delhi and is affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kuktatpally, Hyderabad.

Admissions are conducted in a systematic manner by means of web counselling based on the rank by convener EAMCET.

Thus opportunity is given to the student to choose the course and college.

70% of seats are filled through the EAMCET rank and 30% seats are filled by the management based on the merit at Intermediate (with minimum 45% of marks).
