Re: Daiict cpi
Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information & Communication Technology DA-IICT follows a grading system, and gives point (which is called SPI) out of 10 every semester and cumulative points (called CPI) for all semesters combined. After the first semester, the CPI is equal to the SPI. DA-IICT does not give percentage marks. This is often confusing to parents. Therefore, for your future reference, we provide you a table below, indicating the broad performance levels for various point ranges. CPI (out of 10) Remarks Above 9 Excellent Between 8 and 9 Very good Between 6.5 and 8 Above average Between 5 and 6.5 Below average need to worry a little Between 4 and 5 Danger zone must improve Below 4 Failing will have to leave the Institute For graduating from DA-IICT, a student must have a CPI greater than 5.0. Most companies that come for placements, allow those students to appear whose CPI is above 6.5. Parents are welcome to interact with Dean-Academic Programs, Convenor-UGC and Dean-Students in person or through phone/email about any issues/queries related to their wards.
