Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) had declared CUSAT CAT 2018 result in online mode on June 5 along with the rank list. The ranks/ rank list of CUSAT CAT are prepared based on candidate’s performance/scores in the entrance test.

CUSAT CAT Rank List 2018 Preparation

Percentile Index is the basis for preparing CUSAT CAT Rank list. This Percentile Index is determined by this formula - [(n+1-p)/n)]x S x 100 (n denotes the number of candidates appearing for the entrance exam in a particular subject, p stands for the position according to the CAT score and S means the actual score of the candidate).

The university then integrates the Percentile Indices to calculate the relative position of a candidate in the rank list for a particular engineering programme.

CUSAT Cut-off
The cut-off list will be issued through online mode. CUSAT CAT Cut-off is the minimum marks secured by the candidates to pass the exam.
The cut-off list will be prepared on the basis of these factors such as the difficulty level of the examination, total number of seats, number of candidates appeared in the exam, number of candidates qualified the examination, marks obtained by the topper, etc.
Participating colleges would have their own separate cut-off marks and it will be different for every course.
