The Central Universities Common Entrance Test CUCET exam is conducted by Central University of Rajasthan, Jaipur for admissions to the M.Tech programmes at the Central Universities of Rajasthan, Punjab and Tamilandu. CUCET Eligibility Criteria: Central University of Punjab 1. M.Tech in Computer Science and Technology 2. M.Tech in Computer Science and Technology (Cyber Security) Eligibility Criteria: B.Tech./ B.E.in Computer Science and Engineering / Information Technology / Electronics / Electronics & Communication from a recognized Indian or foreign university with a minimum of 55%marks. Preference will be given to candidates having valid GATE score. Central University of Tamilnadu: M.Tech in Material Science and Nano Technology: First Class M.Sc. in Physics/ Chemistry/ Applied Physics/ Applied Chemistry/ Material Science/ Nano Science / Nano Technology or BE/ B.Tech. (except Computer Science / IT). Minimum marks in the qualifying examination for admission is 60% for general category, 55% for OBC (Non-creamy Layer) and 50% for SC/ST candidates. The candidates should not have completed 30 years of age M.Tech in Energy and Environmental Technology: First Class M.Sc. in Physics/ Chemistry/ Applied Physics/ Applied Chemistry/ Material Science/ Energy & Environmental Science/ Nano Science/ Nano Technology or BE/ B.Tech. in Metallurgy/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil/ Energy/ Chemical/ Environmental Engineering etc. Minimum marks in the qualifying examination for admission is 60% for general category, 55% for OBC (Non-creamy Layer) and 50% for SC/ST candidates. The candidates should not have completed 30 years of age CUCET 2015 Exam Pattern: The duration of the exam is of 2 hours. Questions will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) based on the subjects in the qualifying exam. There is no negative marking. The question Paper will consist of: Part A : Language, general awareness, mathematical aptitude and analytical skills – comprising of 25 MCQs Part B: Domain Knowledge – comprising of 75 MCQs. This part may consist of three/four/five sections. Each section will have 25 questions. A candidate is required to answer a set of any three sections (75 questions).
