Company Secretary Course has to endure three stages to follow the Company Secretaries Course i.e.

• Foundation Program
• Executive Program
• Professional Program


CS course curriculum

Subjects of study for the Foundation Course are:

English and Business Communication (FCEBC)
Basic Economics and Business Environment (FCBE-BE)
Financial Accounting (FCFA)
Elements of Business Laws and Management
Information Systems and Quantitative Techniques (FCISQT)


Eligibility Criteria for CS Foundation Programme

Candidate must have is 10+2 or an equivalent course from any stream, except for Fine Arts can join the CS course.

Admission Procedure for CS Foundation Exam

For admission to the CS course the candidates firstly have to fill the application form.

Application form is available along with the Prospectus from the ICSI.

Candidates who are involved to join can get the form by sending a Rs200/- through cash payment.

Candidates can also send a DD of Rs250/- drawn in favor of
“The Institute of Company Secretaries of India”

The DD must be payable at New Delhi.

Important Dates CS exams:

Candidates will pass the Foundation exam with in the time limit of 3 years from the period of admission.

The exam for the Foundation course is held in every year the month of December and June.

Candidates have to register with the ICSI before 9 months prior to the exam.

Minimum period of the course is 8 months.

Hey as Company Secretary is considered as one of the most prestigious and lucrative course.

Eligibility

To join the Foundation program of the Company Secretary Course students need to have successfully pass 10+2 or equivalent in any stream.

The foundation course of CS is an 8 month course. After completing the Foundation course students can apply for the Executive program.

The candidates who qualified the executive program are eligible for professional programme.

After completing the professional program in the CS, the candidates will become the Associate Member of ICSI.
