NTPC Limited is an Indian Central Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, engaged in the business of generation of electricity and allied activities. Eligibility Criteria for the various posts For Engineering Executive Trainee (EET) : You should have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology with at least 65% aggregate marks. The aggregate should be calculated by taking average of all the semester/ year. You should have the degree from a recognized Indian University. For Executive Trainee – Human Resource (ET HR) : You should be a Graduate with at least 2 yrs of full time post graduate degree / Post graduate diploma/ Post graduate program in Management with specialization in Human Resource / Industrial relations / Personnel Management or Masters in Social work. All the degree should be from a recognized Indian university. You should have at least 65% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam. For Executive Trainee – Finance (ET-Fin) : You who are CA / ICWA qualified from a Institute recognized by the appropriate statutory authority will be considered eligible. Age Limit for the above posts Upper Age limit is 27 years as on last date of online application in NTPC Selection Criteria Eligible candidates will have to appear for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)- 2016. Based on the GATE-2016 marks and requirement, candidates will be short listed for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Candidates need to secure minimum qualifying marks in GD & Interview, before being considered in the merit list. Salary(tentative) Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 24900-3%-50500 at the basic pay of Rs. 24900/- during one-year training and absorbed as Assistant Manager at a basic pay of Rs. 25650/-. In addition candidates will also be paid Dearness Allowance and will also be entitled for other prerequisites & allowances |
