National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC) conducts Trainee Exam for recruitment of Engineering Executive Trainees in the disciplines of Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Instrumentation and Electronics Engineering through GATE.

Important Tentative Dates:
Opening of online application on NTPC website: 6th January
Last date of submission of application on NTPC website: 26th January

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:
Full time Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology/AMIE in respective disciplines with not less than 65% marks.

Final year/semester students are also eligible however they have to obtain at least 65% marks in their engineering degree.

Essential Requirement:
Candidates who wish to apply for Engineering Executive Trainees position in NTPC will be required to take the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).

Age Limit (As on 31st March):
Maximum 27 Years

Age relaxation will be extended as per Govt. rules.

Selection Process:
Candidates will be short listed on the basis of GATE score, Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD & PI).
